STRATEGI PENGELOLAAN SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA MAHASISWA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KESIAPAN KERJA DI UNIVERSITAS WIRABHAKTI MAKASSAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengelolaan sumber daya manusia mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan kesiapan kerja di Universitas Wirabhakti Makassar. Isu kesiapan kerja lulusan perguruan tinggi menjadi perhatian penting karena masih terdapat kesenjangan antara kompetensi lulusan dan kebutuhan dunia kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan melibatkan sepuluh informan yang terdiri dari pimpinan universitas, dosen, pengelola kemahasiswaan, alumni, serta mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan empat tema utama yang memengaruhi kesiapan kerja mahasiswa, yaitu pengembangan soft skills, pengalaman kerja melalui magang dan praktik lapangan, dukungan lingkungan akademik, serta kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi dan dunia industri. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan mahasiswa yang terintegrasi dapat meningkatkan kesiapan kerja lulusan. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bagi perguruan tinggi dalam merancang strategi pengembangan mahasiswa yang lebih adaptif terhadap kebutuhan dunia kerja serta membuka peluang penelitian lanjutan pada konteks institusi yang lebih luas.
